With more than 150 km of marked trails, the Plateau de Retord offers an exceptional playground for cross-country skiing.

Skating or classic, trails for all levels are accessible from the 3 entrance gates of the domain:
– Les Plans d’Hotonnes.
– La Chapelle de Retord.
– Cuvéry.

Fun initiation zones for the little ones are open to all at Les Plans d’Hotonnes and Cuvéry.

Cross-country skiing

in Lachat

Tracks in Lachatare renowned for its soothing setting and easy trails suitable for all levels circulating between its white coombs and forests.

With 46 km of perfectly groomed classic and skating cross-country ski trails, the site offers an escape to the great outdoors for all ages and levels of practice.

The Lachat Mountain Center holds a cross-country ski equipment rental at the trailhead.

Nordic ski lessons with the ESF

Choose your style, private lessons in skating, classic and biathlon initiations:

CLASSIQUE/ALTERNATIF
Elegant and traditional technique similar to gliding, classic is open to all.

SKATING
Skating (or skater’s stride) is similar to rollerblading technique. It provides greater sensations of speed downhill and on the flat.

PRIVATE OR GROUP COURSE
Discovery and improvement without limits. From 1 to 12 people, from one hour to one day.

WEEKLY GROUP COURSE
Perfecting your skills in a good mood during school vacations. Beginners or advanced, all levels of skiing, with the added bonus of conviviality.

BIATHLON
This Olympic sport combines physical effort and concentration with cross-country skiing and rifle shooting. The mastery of these 2 antagonistic activities makes the activity unique!

– Biathlon at 10 meters: lead (from 11 years old) and laser (from 8 years old)
