A trilingual, musical storytelling walk about women in the Resistance.
*Le Chant des Partisanes* is a walking performance – a musical, trilingual storytelling walk in French, Lithuanian and Ukrainian – which, through portraits and narratives, brings together the stories of women resistance fighters from the Second World War to the present day.
Poetic, sensitive and moving, it weaves together the stories of French, Lithuanian and Ukrainian women resistance fighters.
Through these stories, the courage and strength of these women raise questions about what resistance might mean. How do we fight against injustice and oppression? And what does it mean to take action? These are questions that resonate so strongly today…
