Le Jardin des Plans presents a storytelling performance by the Tout Conte theatre company entitled “Le dire des arbres”. Through her descriptions of particular trees and the forest, storyteller Muriel Berthelot takes the audience on a brief journey around the world via tales of wisdom.

A show suitable for all ages. Through the depiction of particular trees and the forest, we treat ourselves to a little tour of the world via tales of wisdom. The dark and mysterious woods – lairs of fearsome creatures, refuges for the persecuted, places of abandonment for the outcast, or sites of initiation for the wise and the innocent… one can lose oneself there or find oneself anew! Trees of life, whether young shoots or ancient, thousand-year-old giants firmly rooted in the ground, they rustle with words carried on the wind. Let us return to the deep forest in the footsteps of the Little People—elves and goblins. Let us go and find the bear, the hare, the wolf, the fox and the weasel, and so many others… The bushes and copses, the savannah, also have so much to share with us. At the foot of his tree, he lived happily! Marvellous legends, terrible memories, tales of wisdom: let us listen to the Voice of the Trees, amidst the vast canopy that covers the five continents.
