Benjamin and Amélie, a young couple in their thirties, decide to buy their dream home on a life annuity basis from Nicolette, a woman who appears to be dying. But shortly after the sale, she starts feeling much better, and the couple begins to wonder if they’ve been scammed. Soon on their knees financially, they’re forced to consider the worst-case scenario.
