Jazz'Muse from 13 to 19 July! Immerse yourself in an adventure where jazz, creativity and sharing take centre stage. You can also enjoy free workshops all week long.
Every day, there are numerous free workshops on offer for jazz enthusiasts, with a rich and varied programme:
Workshops open to everyone
1.30 pm: ‘Keys to listening to jazz’ dessert talks led by the Masterclass tutors
Free coffee; dessert (Chaudron du Dagda) €3, booking required at least 24 hours in advance
4.30 pm to 5.45 pm: Standards workshop and jam session preparation (registration recommended)
Sébastien Mourant, a drum and jazz workshop tutor in Lyon specialising in
outreach, will use a few simple standards to help everyone feel at ease with the unique experience of live improvisation in a jam session. He’ll do this by explaining a few conventions, key concepts and certain ‘theoretical points’ in an accessible way, all within a supportive, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

6.00 pm – 6.45 pm: “Chorale Jazz’Muse” with Ellinoa (registration recommended)
Ellinoa, composer, vocalist and choir director, will present vocal arrangements of jazz pieces accessible to everyone, regardless of age.
The choir will perform at the Masterclass’s final concert on 17 July.
