From Artemare to the heights of Belmont Luthézieu to discover the secrets of the Seran river.
To discover along the way: the Thurignin Gorges, the Cerveyrieu waterfall and the Massignieu wine-growing hills; beautiful views, particularly of the Grand Colombier Massif.
ATTENTION JUNE 2026: The bridge upstream from the Cerveyrieu waterfall is under construction until June 26th. The hike remains possible, but the view of the Cerveyrieu waterfall is no longer accessible from the east bank of the Séran river during the construction period.
Notable points along the route: the Thurignin Gorges, the Cerveyrieu waterfall and the vineyard hills of Massignieu; beautiful viewpoints at stake especially on the Massif du Grand Colombier.

Please note that the river Seran may not flow during long periods of drought, reducing the attractivness of some of the points of interest. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us before your hike to know if the river flows.
