  • Dominated by the Grand Colombier massif and bordered by the Rhône, the town of Culoz has prospered since the Middle Ages thanks to the vineyards and the activities established around its river, the Jourdan. This industrial town, home to the CIAT company, also owes its fame to many famous people: the Serpollet brothers, Henry Dunant, Dr Poncet and the American writer Gertrude Stein.

    This visit requires experience of walking on paths and the wearing of suitable footwear.
