Italy 2026 Running time: 1 hour 51 minutes Original version with subtitles Synopsis In the early 18th century, the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice took in and trained young orphan girls in music. Hidden from the public, often wearing masks or performing behind a grille, the girls’ orchestra performed for the institution’s wealthy patrons. Cecilia, aged 20, excels there as a violinist. Until the day a new music master, Antonio Vivaldi, arrives and turns her life and that of the Ospedale upside down.
