A beautiful panorama on Grand Colombier and the Alps can be discovered from the top of the waterfall. To admire it from above, take the D31 road, “sous Chassin” (between Champagne and Don).

The cycling loop: Geological curiosities of the Valromey is a bike loop of a length of 37 km practicable in hybrid bike, MTB and gravels from Artemare. This loop located on the southern part of the Valromey will lead you from one geological curiosity to another with the possibility of accessing the Cerveyrieu waterfall, Thurignin Gorges, source du Groin and Pain de sucre.
The hike Les Gorges de Thurignin is a 14 km hike starting from the village of Artemare. This hike at the foot of the Grand Colombier between the vineyards and the Séran river from Artemare will get you to discover the Cerveyrieu waterfall, the Thurignin gorges and the Fierloz massif.
