La ronde des Plans

Starting from the resort of Les Plans d’Hotonnes, this pleasant hike will take you to the Beauregard panorama. Facing Mont Blanc, it gives an impressive panorama on the Alps.

    On the steps of the WW2 French resistance

    Follow the steps of the first members of the local resistance during WWII on the thematic path of the “Maquis de Retord”. You will discover Plateau de Retord and its history thanks to the different information panels retracing the history of these locations along the loop. (Only in French).

    Le tour de Retord

      In the midst of Luc Jacquet’s film “The Fox and the Child”, the Retord Plateau is revealed in all its characteristics: combs and forests, typical isolated farms, vast spaces and ridges such as the Crêt du Nu and Tumet with remarkable views of Mont Blanc and the Alps.

      Nature trail of 4.2 km promoting the biodiversity and the knowledge of the nature  secrets. You will meet 10 points of interest materialized by wooden sculptures in the shape of mushrooms. These are listed in the accompanying booklet on sale in the shops of the resort. (French only).
