Come and discover the little gem of Gothic art that is the Church of Saint Maurice in Flaxieu. Built from 1483 onwards on the initiative of Hugonin de Montfalcon, it was dedicated to both Saint Maurice and Saint Innocent.
Its elegant portal, simple architecture, and pure lines make it a remarkable example of Gothic art in the Aindin region. Listed in the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments since September 10, 1969, the church houses a painted vault and a precious polychrome wooden statuette of the Virgin and Child dating from the 16th century, itself classified as a Historic Monument.
