The Bugey Intergenerational University is hosting a lecture on ‘What is life?’ by Alain Lacoste at the Arlequin cinema.
Let's get to know our speaker, Alain Lacoste:
Alain LACOSTE is a former electronics and computer engineer.
He has always been passionate about these two disciplines, as well as biology, neurology, physics, cosmogony and music. More than 40 years ago, my final engineering projects focused on expert systems applied to agriculture.
They used LISP and PROLOG, two atypical programming languages dedicated to this type of application.
It was Artificial Intelligence before its time...!
