Summer show in six sketches ‘Théâtre sans animaux’ by the Cie La Pierre d'Amyon

These poignant yet hilarious subjects will be tackled, without taboos or false pretence, in this comedy of sketches and jolts.
After chez Plottin, la Grange à Lucien and Culoz 5mn d'arrêt, the Pierre d'Amyon company is putting on its new summer show, a production of Jean-Michel RIBES's Théâtre sans Animaux, from 25 July to 10 August 2025 in Bugey and Valromey.

Through six sketches, the play takes us on a journey through different everyday situations. The heroes are not dogs in a bowling alley or elephants in a china shop. No, they are human beings, civilised and capable, but who are startled by an unlikely stimulus and, from that startle, the unknown, the unexpected, the surprising.
So we'll be laughing, and no doubt we'll be crying too, at the astonishment of everyday life, the failure of routine, the predestined coincidence - in short, the mysterious tectonic fault line that runs through every human being.
