Maison d'Izieu mediators will be on hand in the museum to focus on the temporary exhibition, the children's trail table and the table on mass crimes.
During school holidays (Zone A), the Maison d'Izieu extends its opening hours and offerings.
The museum-memorial is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and organizes flash tours of the museum.
The mediators meet with visitors once or twice a day to explore specific themes.
In February, the children's journey and the trial of Klaus Barbie will be discussed.
Focus on the journey table:
Children from all over Europe found refuge at the Maison d'Izieu. The mediation team will give you clues to discover the journeys of some sixty children and their educators across Europe, before, during, and after their stay in Izieu.
Focus on the trial of Klaus Barbie:
The mediation team looks back at the trial of K. Barbie through contextual information and testimonies in order to better understand the issues of justice and the fight against crimes against humanity.
