Canoeing-kayaking excursions on the Canal de Savière and the Lac du Bourget.
From the marina base on the islets of Chanaz, discover the ancestral Savière canal, linking Lac du Bourget and the Rhône. Pass through the village of Chanaz, "Little Savoyard Venice", with its lake base and houses on stilts.
You'll then reach Lac du Bourget, Europe's largest natural lake of glacial origin!
Follow the wild coastline to the majestic Hautecombe Abbey. The creeks and beaches along the coastline welcome you for lakeside breaks.
We offer 1, 2, 3 and 4-seater boats.
Rides are available for children aged 3 and over.
Suggested rides:
Les granges: 1h on the canal to discover the village of Chanaz and its activities.
Portout: 2h on the canal to Portout, the mouth of Lac du Bourget.
Conjux or Chatillon beaches: kayak from Chanaz to discover Lac du Bourget (4h round trip).
Hautecombe Abbey: a day to discover the wild coastline and the jewel of the lake!
You can also rent canoes and kayaks at our Aqualoisirs base in Seyssel, for trips on the old Rhône in the heart of the Natura 2000 reserve.
Rides are open to children aged 3 and over.
All participants are equipped with life jackets, paddles and waterproof bottles.
From May to September, booking recommended.
October to April: booking essential.
