To mark the 50th anniversary of the Lachat Mountain Center, the Nordic site is organizing its traditional nighttime snowshoe hiking evening, a nighttime cross-country skiing evening, and a hot meal alongside an exhibition retracing the history of the resort.
On the program, two cross-country ski trails (green and blue trails), as well as two snowshoe trails (green and blue trails) which will be marked, groomed, secured and open at night (from 5:30 p.m.) to allow you to practice your favorite activity under the stars and the full moon.
Equipment rental (skis, snowshoes, poles) possible on site.
A hot meal will be served in the parking lot of the Lachat mountain center from 7 p.m. (Soup, diot + lentils, bread + comté, a glass of mulled wine or hot apple juice and of course, a slice of birthday cake which will be celebrated at 8 p.m.).
You can also take the opportunity to discover some explanatory panels retracing the history of the Lachat mountain center, from its creation to the present day.
Registration required before February 9, 2025 within the limit of 150 places available at a price of €25 euros per person.
IMPORTANT: Remember to bring your headlamp for lighting and to wear clothes suitable for the weather conditions of the day (meal outdoors under a marquee!)
In case of lack of snow, no postponement. A night hike will be offered with the meal.
