- Morning: Via Ferrata
Just 5 minutes from the village of Hostiaz, discover the Via Ferrata "La Guinguette" overlooking the village of Tenay and the Albarine gorges. Ideal for beginners, La Guinguette's via ferrata offers unique sensations. You'll be able to climb safely above the void in the company of your instructor, thanks to a complete range of high-quality equipment: helmet, harness and lanyards. Bring a pair of gloves to protect your hands. After a gentle warm-up on a wide ledge among the box trees, the cable takes you to a series of ledges on the face. A magnificent view of the valley awaits you. In case of panic, the instructor is on hand to help you progress with the aid of a rope for even greater safety.
At lunchtime, we can enjoy a picnic in a natural setting with a view of the mountains, or discover the succulent dishes of the Auberge La Fora in Hostiaz. ATTENTION, lunch is not included in the price.
- Afternoon: Canyoning
After a 10-30 minute drive, you can explore the most beautiful canyons in the Ain region: Chaley, Tréfond-Pernaz, le Groin or the Charabotte waterfall. Depending on your level of fitness, the instructor will adapt the canyon to suit you. You'll never be disappointed! Canyoning is the perfect way to cool off in the afternoon. Depending on your level of fitness, the instructor will suggest canyons for beginners, advanced or sporty levels.
At the end of the day, it's time to go home with your head full of memories. Activities finish around 5 p.m.
Near Oyonnax, we can also offer you the via ferrata at Le Reposoir above Lac de Vouglans and a canyon at Saint-Claude: Le Grosdar or Coiserette.
Depending on the weather and your level of fitness, we can also offer other activities such as rock climbing and abseiling.
