r the fourth consecutive year, the Bugey Sud Grand Colombier Tourist Office is offering tours of local farms during the October school holidays, from Saturday 18 to Friday 31 October.

Sheep, allies of the vines?
Denis settled here in 2000 and has been cultivating his vines on the slopes of Izieu using organic farming methods since 2010, with a unique activity in the Bugey region: viti-pastoralism. By grazing in the vines in autumn, his sheep help to maintain the soil and biodiversity. The grapes are harvested by hand on all the plots and Denis will introduce you to his full range of complex and fruity wines. Denis also has another string to his bow, but shhh... he'll tell you all about it on the day of your visit.
