Located in Valromey sur Séran in the Bugey Sud, the Observatoire de la Lèbe is entirely dedicated to the discovery of astronomy for all.
At the Lèbe Observatory, everything is designed to bring astronomy to life and make it exciting, even (and especially!) for those who know nothing about it.
Every year, we welcome thousands of children, schools, families and associations to share the joy of understanding the sky.
We have a single goal: to share the stars with as many people as possible.
Whether you are a child, parent, walker, curious observer or dreamer, you are welcome here. Astronomy is also about passing on knowledge... and that starts here, at the Lèbe Observatory.
The Observatory is also a dynamic association, made up of volunteers and facilitators who share their passion through workshops, observations, courses, monthly meetings and major events such as the Nuits des étoiles (Nights of the Stars).
It is strongly advised to phone before coming to ensure the availability of the mediators.
