La Route du Bugey is organizing its traditional gourmet walk starting from Andert. This stroll through the vineyards and villages of southern Bugey includes gourmet stops and tastings of A.O.C Bugey wines.
The walk will follow a 13-kilometer route between Andert-et-Condon and Chazey-Bons, winding through fields, woods, vineyards, hillsides, and hamlets of the Furans Valley.
As every year, it will bring together local winemakers and restaurateurs, the Commanders of Bugey, and all the association's volunteers who are passionate about promoting their region and celebrating the convivial atmosphere of the Brillat-Savarin Country.
On the menu this year:
APERITIF: Savory onion tarts and pizza.
STARTER: Herb espuma on a parmesan pebble: fresh cheese - tomato tartare - Serrano ham Gevrinoise
MAIN COURSE: Slow-roasted veal with its jus and fresh sage
Airy zucchini flan, crushed potatoes with wild garlic
BUGEY HINT: Blackcurrant ice cream with Marc du Bugey
CHEESE: Assortment of cheeses. Mild Comté - Bleu de Gex - Tomme du Valromey - Crottin de Chèvre
DESSERT: Raspberry Charlotte
COFFEE: Raffle - farmers' market.
