- Understand the challenges of space exploration.
- Develop teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Learn about astronomy and building space models.
Bring a picnic lunch, a water bottle, warm clothes, and sneakers.
Schedule for the day:
1. Discover Mars in the planetarium
An immersive journey through the solar system to observe Mars and understand its characteristics (atmosphere, temperature, landscapes).
Comparison with Earth: why is Mars so different?
Discussion about past and future space missions to Mars.
2. Adventure game: “We crashed on Mars!”
Scenario: The children are astronauts whose ship has crashed on Mars. Their mission? Find the missing parts of their shuttle to return to Earth.
Puzzle hunt:
Solve scientific and logical puzzles to obtain clues.
Work as a team to gather the parts of the shuttle.
Discover the resources available on Mars (water, energy, etc.). .
3. Build your space shuttle
Hands-on workshop: Building a model “Space Shuttle.”
Explanation of the different parts of a shuttle and their roles.
4. Closing: Return to Earth!
Review of the day: What did you learn about Mars and space exploration?
Time for discussion to ask a science mediator any questions they may have.
