Canyoning on the Charabotte with the Bugey Guides

Course, Improvers' course, White-water, Canyoning in Plateau d'Hauteville
  • Abseil down the highest waterfall in the Jura massif: the Charabotte waterfall between the Hauteville plateau and the Albarine gorges. The Charabotte is a 150-metre-high waterfall that can be abseiled down: atmosphere guaranteed!

  • 1. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Abseiling down the Charabotte waterfall is a canyoning course for adults and children aged 15 and over.

With a relatively quick approach and return, this route requires a leash to walk on the rocks.

After learning the abseiling technique, we'll launch ourselves into the void on abseiling ropes in the 150-metre-high Charabotte waterfall, with several 50-metre spider-wire jumps.
