Chorale Chantelouve's traditional Christmas concert, a staple of the choir's program since its inception (40 years already!).
Every year, the musical director and choristers put their hearts into delighting the ears of young and old alike, with a richly varied program drawn from a vast repertoire on the theme of Christmas: traditional songs, Christmas carols from around the world, classical works...
Once again this year, this diversity has inspired Joël Durandet, musical director of the Chantelouve, in his choice of pieces to illustrate and enhance the text of the Christmas tale read by members of the Millefeuille association.
"Who will come from the North? or the Mystery of the Fourth Magus, is a marvellous tale, a biblical adventure that tells the little-known story of Menestupmi, the fourth magus, the one who came to the crib by the road to the North (Jean-Jacques Soullié, author of the tale).
This tale is published by Onésime 2000, Text by Jean-Jacques Soullié,
Illustrations by Laure Th.Chanal, with a CD featuring readings by Brigitte Fosset and Mickaël Lonsdale.
It will be available for purchase at the end of the Concert.
