The AURA biathlon league circuit allows all biathletes from the Auvergne Rhônes-Alpes region from the U15 to masters category to meet in different competition formats over different races throughout the year.

The Plans d'Hotonnes biathlon stadium will host a stage of the 2026 AURA League biathlon circuit in September. Biathletes from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region will compete in event formats that include various shooting scenarios—at rest and/or under exertion—to help them optimize their performance. Calling all biathlon enthusiasts! Registration and other details: see the website www.auraligueski.fr Schedule: 9:00–10:00 a.m.: Rifle inspection + bib distribution, coaches’ briefing. 9:30 a.m.–10:20 a.m.: Shooting practice for U17, Senior Women, Senior Men, and Masters. 10:30 a.m.: U17 Women, followed by Men U19 and Senior Women, followed by Men Masters Women, followed by Men. 11:20 a.m.: U15 rifle inspection 12:30 p.m.: Individual & Masters awards ceremony 11:50 a.m.–12:50 p.m.: U15 shooting trials 1:00 PM: U15 Men’s Mass Start – Wave A 1:45 PM: U15 Women’s Mass Start – Wave B 2:30 PM: U15 Men’s Mass Start – Wave C 3:15 PM: U15 Mixed Mass Start – Wave D 4:15 PM: U15 awards ceremony Race Formats: U15: Mass start (in groups of 30). => 3 x 1.5 km = 4.5 km, 1 standing shot at rest followed by 2 prone shots (15" penalty) U17: Individual => Men: 5 x 2 = 10 km, Women: 5 x 1.5 km = 7.5 km, CDCD shooting (20" penalty) U19-SEN: Short Individual => Men: 5 x 2.5 km = 12.5 km, Women: 5 x 2 = 10 km, CDCD shooting (25" penalty) Masters: Individual (in accordance with “Esprit Racing” rules) => Men: 5 x 2 = 10 km, Women: 5 x 1.5 km = 7.5 km, CDCD shooting (45-second penalty)
