Why Colomieu? The municipality is currently carrying out a regenerative hydrology project to restore green water cycles. The project was launched in response to a call for expressions of interest from the Rhône Méditerranée Corse water agency (AERMC), and was awarded a prize for its innovative nature. It also received a major grant from the Nature 2050 Fund/MAIF Fund for the Living Environment, and recently from the CNR, again for its innovative nature. The project's originality also lies in the fact that COLOMIEU is one of five pilot local authorities in the Rhône/Méditerranée/Corse region whose development effects will be scientifically monitored by Pour Une Hydrologie Régénérative (PUHR).
