With a doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences from the University of Aix-Marseille, Julien Intartaglia quickly specialised in the study of the mechanisms by which advertising influences buyer attitudes and behaviour.
An expert in neuroscience and cognitive science, he is one of the few French-speaking researchers to apply these conceptual and methodological frameworks to marketing research on young consumers.

Currently Professor of Marketing and Advertising at the Haute École de Gestion Arc Neuchâtel in Switzerland, this teacher-researcher offers a wide range of communication/marketing services to SMEs and public authorities as part of the school's Institute of Communication and Experiential Marketing.
He is also the author of some fifty scientific and professional publications and takes part in numerous international conferences.
He has published two major books on advertising;
- La pub qui cartonne (December 2013),
- Générations Pub (December 2014), published by Éditions Deboeck.
Together with a number of colleagues, he recently published a major teaching manual with Editions Vuibert (May 2018), as well as his latest book
"Neurocommunication: le cerveau sous influence (April 2022).
He now runs a Youtube channel called "Cerveau & conso" and a Tik tok account dedicated to current affairs and communication/marketing.
