  • This year, for the 4th time, we are organising a Christmas box collection for the most disadvantaged. The initiative was the brainchild of Mélanie Dulize and was initially organised by her group "Comme une envie de vivre autrement".

  • The principle is the same as every year:
    - Take a shoebox and decorate or wrap it like a Christmas present.
    - Specify on the gift: M (mixed), H (man), F (woman) - and possibly the size of the garment if you have worn one. We recommend adding the age and sex for children to make it easier to read.

    Fill the box with :
    - something warm (socks, scarf, gloves, hat, etc.) new or in good condition,
    - something nice (chocolate, cakes, tea, terrine, etc.)
    - entertainment (card game, book,...

    - a hygiene or beauty product (new for hygiene reasons).
    - a sweet note or drawing to wish the recipient a happy holiday.

    This is a suggestion, and it is of course possible to add or change things. The aim is to share.

    Christmas boxes can be dropped off at the relay points. They will then be collected and distributed to the associations in Belley (resto du cœur, secours populaire and the red cross).

    The relay points will be as follows
    - Belley Tourist Office (open Wednesday to Saturday inclusive, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm)
    - Champagne-en-Valromey Tourist Office (open Thursday and Saturday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm)
    - Bonobo and Cache-Cache shops in Belley
    - Jouet Club in Belley
    - Arthurimmo in Belley
    - Le Bistrot de Brens
    - Boulangerie La Valromeysanne in Champagne-en-Valromey
    - Des Fleurs et des Cheveux in Virignin
    - Aux Délices du Valromey in Artemare
