As part of the Journées Nationales de l'Architecture, the communauté de communes Bugey-Sud is inviting you to take part in a friendly walk through this charming village. During this experience, you'll learn to (re)discover the landscape of your daily life, paying particular attention to the architectural and landscape details that make it up. Our itinerary begins with a dive into the architectural features of Marignieu. The stone houses, the layout of the farm buildings and the roofs all have their own special characteristics. You'll be guided on an exploration of the details that often escape the untrained eye, but which tell the story of this area. Then, just as a photographer enlarges his frame, we'll zoom out to discover the surrounding countryside and see how the architectural elements fit into this natural and agricultural setting.
Our walk will take us to the panoramic viewpoint where we can see the interaction between the different landscape motifs and understand how they balance to create a harmonious picture. Tasting and visit to the Angelot cellar at the end of the tour. Guided tour by Lorène Jocteur, consultant landscape gardener at the Conseil d'Architecture, d'Urbanisme et de l'Environnement de l'Ain (CAUE 01). Postponed in case of rain. Booking essential. Meeting point given on registration.
